Thank you to the 24 Michigan legislators who supported Senate Bill 1, a bi-partisan proposal to reform Michigan’s broken, outdated auto no-fault system. By supporting SB 1, lawmakers from across our state and from both parties stood up for Michigan drivers who are hit every day with skyrocketing auto insurance premiums.

Instead of caving to medical providers, trial lawyers and Lansing special interests, these Republicans and Democrats stood strong in support of real auto no-fault reform. They deserve our appreciation, and our support.

SB 1 will lower the cost of auto insurance and save consumers money by creating an Auto Insurance Task Force to crack down on fraud and abuse, which costs the average Michigan family hundreds of dollars a year in additional premiums.

SB 1 will lower the cost of auto insurance and save consumers money by Stopping overcharging by medical providers and the gouging of consumers by enacting a medical fee schedule.

SB 1 will lower the cost of auto insurance and save consumers money by giving you a choice of different levels of medical benefits so you can have the flexibility to choose what works best for you and you family.
