Lawmakers push to scrap no-fault auto insurance system altogether

Frustrated by the stalemate in Lansing over reforming Michigan’s no-fault insurance, a group of Republican lawmakers will formally introduce legislation Tuesday that seeks to scrap the current law and return Michigan to a tort system where the cost of vehicle and bodily damage gets litigated in court.
